I don't really know too much about it so I've been doing a bit of research on the topic and I've found Indian food to be very exciting and intricate. The overall design concept was to make the book look and feel like a cooking ingredient. I put all my Indian cookbooks together (I own 8 different Tarla Dalals). There are many who admit to being hooked to food channels and food shows on tv. The list of recipes boasts a wide range from almost all states of India and I liked that. Pushpesh Pant has compiled a cookbook containing 1000 of the best recipes from India. Indian food is flavorful, but did you have any clue it was so bountiful? I started reading the list of recipes and was almost impressed by the names on it. Don't get me wrong, I love eating it, but preparing it from scratch is a whole other thing! I wonder if the lentil dish could be made with black split lentils. Without upsetting anyone, wouldn't you like to have spiced up Thanksgiving dinner with a few new touches here and there. This latest book, “Anjum's New Indian” features recipes from her BBC show, “Indian Food Made Easy” along with some others. A few vegetarian ones that I love. No other cuisine frightens me more in the kitchen than Indian food. Shrikhand, from "The Chakh le India Cookbook" by Aditya Bal. Pushpesh spent 20 years lovingly researching “India”, and this definitely comes across in the encyclopaedic nature of the tome. The evening was a celebration of the India cookbook by the excellently named Pushpesh Pant. Then at the very edge you'll find two Indian notebooks.
